News The sun is shining again at our school in Dhaka

In previous newsletters, we told you about the setbacks we have had at our school in Dhaka. About our dear coordinator and “master trainer” Rabeya who died suddenly and about the physical therapist who lost her unborn baby and fought for her life in the ICU.

Fortunately, the sun is shining again at the school. A new coordinator has been found and the physical therapist is recovering. As a result of urbanization and the rapid construction of apartment blocks, the slums are moving to suburbs. In Dhaka, we focus specifically on children with disabilities from the slums, so we moved with them. We have a nice and spacious new location, and here too new parents and their children are finding their way to us. In 2023, we will resume the school program in full.
