NewsNiketan methods of a high international level

Niketan has developed dozens of methods and training courses in recent years. To gain insight into whether the teaching material can be applied on a large scale, Niketan has asked the independent Asian Center for Inclusive Education (ACIE) to conduct an evaluation.

The evaluation showed that the training and teaching methods are of a high international standard. In particular, the quality and content of the training courses was appreciated. The methods are more broadly applicable, although it turned out that there is still too little capacity in Bangladesh, both quantitatively and institutionally. The appropriate education of Niketan was assessed with “good”, the lifelong learning approach with “good” with the potential to become “excellent” because of the close link with the social environment.

Some examples of our methods and trainings

In the coming years Niketan wants to focus more on training master trainers so that we can reach more supervisors and caretakers of children and young people with the developed materials. For this we are looking for equity funds that want to support this financially.
