Life is beautiful when you live it for others. Ms. Antoinette Termoshuizen (Niketan) proved it, in its entirety, through her devoted work in Bangladesh.

Ms. Antoinette Termoshuizen, a Dutch woman, have been working in Bangladesh for last 25 years for mostly children and adults with ASD (Autism spectrum disorder).

Ambassador Sheikh Mohammed Belal,  shared how Bangladesh is way ahead of her peers when it comes to ASD and similar differently abled person.

When it comes to the issue of Autism and neuro disorder, we must take a pause to pay tribute to our Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her worthy daughter, the Chairperson of the Bangladesh National Advisory Committee for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Saima Wazed Hossain, stated Ambassador Belal.

Dr. Saima helped Bangladesh to come out its black box and bravely embraced the reality where issues like Autism exists. It is because of her passionate work in the spheres of Autism and neuro disorder, smiles kept blooming in a good many faces of those differently abled persons in Bangladesh.

Nonetheless, Ambassador Belal sought support from organisations like NIKETAN for bringing lessons and ideas in Bangladesh through initiatives like Training of Trainers.
